HURRICAN MILTON UPDATE
As we continue to prepare for Hurricane Milton’s approach, I wanted to send everyone a quick update on our preparedness for the storm. The team here has been busy ensuring we have plenty of food, water and other supplies needed to get us through the next few days and beyond. Our back-up generator is full of fuel and will operate for at least 4 days should we experience a power failure. Our supplier is on standby to refill the generator tank if necessary. We will be securing outdoor furniture tomorrow and will assist you in removing all objects from your balconies tomorrow. We are also preparing to have staff stay in the community so that we can continue providing services to our residents though the duration of the storm. All outings and transportation beyond tomorrow will be canceled for the duration of the week. I had a call with our leadership in Michigan and they are on standby should we need anything as the storm passes. I will continue to monitor the storm and update you all.
